David Ongenaert

David Ongenaert works as a postdoctoral researcher at The Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism at Charles University. He examines the discursive construction of peace with a focus on the Russian-Ukrainian war, including how Ukrainian refugees (re-)imagine peace. David obtained a PhD in Communication Sciences from Ghent University in 2022. He investigated the public communication strategies of international refugee organizations.
